Black Masculinity & The Prison of Gender

What becomes possible when gender is treated as expansive rather than restrictive?

Join our community conversation as we examine the myths, expectations, and performances surrounding masculine identity. Who they serve, who they harm, and what it might mean to live beyond them.

What would a liberated masculinity look like?

This conversation makes space for the full spectrum of people who live within, alongside, beyond, or in tension with the category of manhood. Open to people of all genders and none, this is a space for anyone ready to question the ideals that discipline our bodies, and to imagine a freer, fuller, more human way of living inside ourselves.

We ask that you enter with intention, and hold this space and each other with care.
