The Liberation Lab

We Create Spaces To:

  • Explore radical embodiment and collective care.

  • Question who gets to be seen as whole, beautiful, human.

  • Claim the political strength of bodies marked as excessive, disruptive, or unruly.

  • Interrupt systems that police, shame, and exclude.

The Liberation Lab is a collaborative exploration of radical ideas and transformative practices. A living, breathing space where we gather to imagine, make, unmake, and build the worlds we’ve been told are impossible. Here, every body is worthy — without condition, without exception.

We Believe That:

  • Beauty is political.

We challenge it wherever it is used to shame, exclude, or justify violence.

  • All bodies hold knowledge.

Especially those deemed unfit, freakish, unworthy.

  • Liberation is not a metaphor.

It is physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural.

  • No one is free until we all are.

That includes fat, queer, trans, disabled, racialised, undocumented, criminalised, and poor bodies.

This Is Liberation Work:

Abolitionist, anti-colonial, body-based resistance. It is work that refuses the idea that any body must be corrected, contained, or made legible to systems of power. The revolution begins here—beneath the skin. We are not interested in visibility that requires compromise. We are building something else—something rooted in collective care and embodied freedom.

We do not work with the police, immigration enforcement, or any other institution/individual with a history of upholding or supporting state approved violence.
